The 30-story, mixed-use development located in the heart of downtown Orlando serves as a hub of activity for day and night life. The redevelopment created an upscale mix of culinary and retail offerings with a variety of entertainment venues to provide a destination neighborhood center. The plaza has unique water features, intriguing paving patterns and various seating areas. Large specimen Live Oak trees and other landscape materials are introduced as major design elements to accentuate the urban neighborhood atmosphere. The Level 12 pool deck amenity at the 55 West Residences adds to the park-like setting and includes a swimming pool, hydro-therapy spa, hospitality bar, wood deck with trellis, lawn areas, natural stone paving materials, and lush landscape plantings.

As the urban designer and landscape architect, EDSA created a neighborhood plaza within a classic Florida atmosphere. Specific services included streetscape enhancements, site design for the plaza and parking garage roofs as well as a swimming pool and water feature for condominium residences.
